She's been gone for too long....finally she's been signed to the M-M-M-M Maybach Music Group! Best move for her I think. They've got some hot artists now. I don;t know when her next album will be released but I hope its some time soon. She has to come back to London. Her last concert was SICKKKKKKK! We got to hear all the classics from 'Complex Simplicity'.

NEW MUSIC: DAWN RICHARD - NOVACANE REMIX

Dawn from Dirty Money has released a remix to Frank Ocean's big hit 'Novacane'. The original version still gets me singing along and with him releasing the video which is epic (see archive to watch the video). Ive listened to Dawns version a couple times now and its actually alright. BUT there's something missing. I love off Dawn especially since the Danity Kane days (still upset they split up) but yeah I don't know if it really works.

MUSIC: CRYSTAL FIGHTERS

So I was up to my usual late night antics on wednesday night, frathing around even though I had to be up early for work in the morning -___-. I decided to watch 'Abbey Road Studios' on Channel 4 and came across a band called 'Crystal Fighters'. Hadn't heard of them before but instantly loved their music. I found myself prancing around me room when they played 'Follow' live in the background. Defo the kinda music you'd want to get down to at a festival with a stella in one hand and a fag in another.

Crystal Fighters formed in 2007 in Spain. They can be described as an indie/electronica band and use a variety of instruments to get their unique sound. They released their first album 'Star of Love' on their own record label 'Zirkulo'. I suggest you all give it a listen and see what you think.

One of my fav songs of theirs is 'Champion': 

I know this type of music doesn't tickle everyone's fancy but hey give em a try. They may just grow on you.

I think it's safe to safe to say Estelle is back. She's been quiet on the music side of thngs for quite some time but she's always at events, celebs parties etc. Anyway, 'Break my heart' is her official single off her new album. Im quite excited to hear this new album, hopefully it will be as good or even better as the last one.

Guys you'll remember I done a post on Frank Ocean's mixtape 'Nostagia Ultra' a couple weeks back. This guy is causing a stir in the industry, and rightly so! He's written for John Legend and Justin Bieber, and he was also spotted in the studio with Queen Bee recently cooking up something good!

Anyway this track 'Static' has been leaked. Check it out!

I generally like the track but wasn't wowed by it. However, Im defo looking forward to hearing more from this dude.

EVENT ALERT: WU TANG CLAN UK TOUR

Hip Hop royalty will be on tour in the UK in June!! Tickets when on sale at 9am and they are on average about £32.50! The tour will be taking place over 5 dates: London (2 dates), Birmingham, Edinburgh and Manchester!

BEYONCE'S BACKKKKKKKKKKKK

Queen Bee makes a return at long last. Im actually esctatic. She's next to release her forthcoming album in the next few months and will also be headlining Glastonbury! Im so upset that i didnt get a chance to go this year. Anyway she's been filming her first single from the album 'Who Rule The World (Girl)'. The track features the same instrumental used on the Major Lazer track that was a masssooiiveee hit in 2009/10.

MUSIC: SONGS ON REPEAT!!!!!

1) Remember my post about Jhene Aiko 'Sailing Souls' mixtape!!! Well you guys know I <3 it!! I play it all the time now! At the moment, 'Stranger' is CONSTANTLY on repeat! The beat and Jhene smooth and sassy vocals together make this track BONKERS!

2) Erykah Badu 'Otherside of the Game' - PFFTTT! Remember this tune on the 'Baduizm' album! Friggin fantastic! The other day I brought out the album - QUALITY. I remember when this first came out and my mum would bang out the tape (Yes tape). Aww the days of tapes and no CDs lool great times they were but what a nightmare when they decided to chew up! 

Anyway, let me shullup about the old skl days and tapes. Me thinks I may need to take myself down to the Brixton Academy in July to see her you know.

ALBUM: ADELE - 21

The sophomore album has been the no 1 album in the UK Album charts for 11 WEEKS! I wouldn't even mid if it stayed there for another 11 either. Words to describe 21: AMAZING, EXQUISITE, MARVELLOUS.....I could go on all night! I don't really think me writing how great it is actually going to do the album any justice. And on that note, if you haven't listened to or bought the album yet, I suggest you cop it................NOW.

NEW MUSIC: SADE FT JAY Z - THE MOON AND THE SKY REMIX

The legend is back and set to release 'The Ultimate Collection' album on 28th April which will be filled with all of her classics plus some new material. Remember 'The Moon and The Sky' on the 'Soldier of Fortune' album?! Well, she's teamed up with Jay Z to release a remix of the song. I really like it but the original is a lot better in my eyes.

Im soooo late! Didnt realise there was a video for this tune!! Im so in love with her album 'Late Nights, Early Morning'. Top quality album right thurrr! lol Anyway I play this song everyday and happy there's a video for it. The video highlights something that most videos don't usually show!! My mate Alex just sent me the link to this video via twitter. The video came out yesterday. Ive heard a few songs by Dot Rotten and ive been pretty impressed with what ive heard. But see this tune, can't lie ive reloaded this 3 times. UK music artists can produce some quality music and this song and the video prove it. Quality!!

Love this tune!!! Defo feeling this track by Kelly Rowland. Lil Wayne is alright on the track, but the track wouldn't miss him if he wasn't on it.
