She performed at the Macy's 4th July fireworks yday!! Her vocal were on point as usual.

ALBUM REVIEW: BEYONCE - 4

Ahhhh sooo '4' is finally out!! I can't lie I downloaded the album a few weeks ago and I must admit at first I thought 'ermmmmm Beyonce like what is this'. I only really like a few songs but I thought let me just keep listening to it and after a while I fell in love with it.


'4' isn't like any of the other albums, infact their all different. But with '4' it's almost as though Beyonce music has grown. It's more of a maturer sounds, she's still got that feistyness that we got in 'Bday' and the 'I am Sasha Fierce' album. 


My fav song: 


1+1 - Intimate and beautifully sung ballad, by Queen B. She executes every note on this song. We get to hear her vocal range and just how powerful her voice is!! Its one of those songs you'd sing to someone you truly love. The lyrics are too beautiful.


'I don't care' -  Another powerful ballad. Bee proper goes for it. Got a rock feel to it in some parts.


'I miss you' - Kinda feel like she's singing for Jay Z in this song. Quite an emotional song but I love the beat.


'Party' - The song features Andre 3000 and was produced by Kanye 'Sexy' West! Love this song soo much. IT's got that 80s vibe to it. Defo gonna be rinsing it.


'Run the World (Girls)' - Didn't like it at first but its defo my anthem for the summer!! Love it. Just makes you wanna shake your tush!!


'End of Time' - This will probably be released!! Absolutely L O V E this track!! Im sure I play it at least 5-10 times a day. It's another one which makes you wanna shake ur tush too.


'Countdown' - Beyonce brings out the gangster twang in this song. It's one of those upbeat joints that you would hear on 'Bday' or 'I Am Sasha Fierce'. Can't wait to see her perform this track.




So yh out of the 12 songs on the album im in love with 7 so far!! That may change though.




Can't wait for here London concerts!!!

GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL 2011: BEYONCE

Glastonbury looked amazing with acts such as U2, Coldplay, Jessie J, The Chemical Brothers and Queen B........I watched most of it on via BBC! :( Really really wanted to go but it just wasn't possible this year. I really koved Ed Sherran's performance. Apparently he performed 8 times at Glastonbury!! Pretty good for the talented newcomer. Anyway, when the headlines about Beyonce performing at Glastonbury come out a few months ago, I was completely GUTTED!! You know im a Beyonce stan already. Even though all the Glastonbury footage was good and it looked amazing, all I could wait for was to see her closing performance.


I got in from a fab day of Go Karting that evening just in time for the performance. I can't even describe how AMAZING she was to watch. You gotta see for yourself. She performed some of her old songs and a few of her new songs from her album '4' (which is out in stores now).

I shall be at Glastonbury 2013!!!! There isn't one next year.....something to do with allowing the ground to recover!! Meh! 2013 = GLASTONBURY BOUND!

YESSS! So we now get to hear the 2nd single that will be released from her forthcoming album '4'. Although I not particularly crazy about the song YET (i had to stress the 'yet' as we all know Beyonce's songs can get you vibsing after a few plays). The album will be released on 28th June. 26 days to go yo!!

Beyonce knows how to treat her fans well. The 'Run the world' video was released last week and now were hearing what should be her second single from her forthcoming album '4'. I absolutely love this song, it's soo heartfelt.

Beyonce teamed up with First Lady Michelle Obama and her 'Let's move' campaign to help kids become healthier and promote better living habits. Beyonce used her 'Get me Bodied' track and remixed it to fit the campaign. I can see myself getting down to this.

NEW MUSIC: FRANK OCEAN - STATIC

Guys you'll remember I done a post on Frank Ocean's mixtape 'Nostagia Ultra' a couple weeks back. This guy is causing a stir in the industry, and rightly so! He's written for John Legend and Justin Bieber, and he was also spotted in the studio with Queen Bee recently cooking up something good!

Anyway this track 'Static' has been leaked. Check it out!

I generally like the track but wasn't wowed by it. However, Im defo looking forward to hearing more from this dude.

BEYONCE'S BACKKKKKKKKKKKK

Queen Bee makes a return at long last. Im actually esctatic. She's next to release her forthcoming album in the next few months and will also be headlining Glastonbury! Im so upset that i didnt get a chance to go this year. Anyway she's been filming her first single from the album 'Who Rule The World (Girl)'. The track features the same instrumental used on the Major Lazer track that was a masssooiiveee hit in 2009/10.

MMmmm Im not sure about the track tbh BUT I know it will grow on me!
