EAR CUFFS 'R' US

EAR CUFFS!!!! I really wanna be seeing everyone rocking these this summer. These babies have been around for ages but as always fashion is recyclable and it looks like their cool again. DO NOT overdo it with ear cuffs on both ears, 1 is enough. Just wear a plain cute stud or a stud with a similar design of the ear cuff if you can find one. Your choice really.

Where to get one???????

Vintage shops and charity shops  - you could find a real gem in there.

This snake shape ear cuff by Regalrose is a BEAUT! Really love it and i think i shall be purchase.

Ive seen some on ASOS.com aswell and in other high street shops. Have a search around and find the one that suits you best!! ooo and check on ebay too!

STYLE: JAPANESE STREET STYLE

Since I was a teen ive always respected the japanese for the crazy outlandish style. You've got to give it to the Japanese when it comes to style. Quirky, Wild, Eccentric, Wacky (you get my drift) they never cease to amaze me.

THE MODEL AGENCY: LEOMIE ANDERSON

Awww im in love with this programme, watching it right now as I write this quick blog! Now if your not too familiar with The Model Agency, its based on the viewing the ins and outs of top modelling agency Premier. Now it may sound boring but its far from it. Anyway, over this series, one model has really shone out for me - Leomie Anderson. Thought i'd quickly check out some of her work so far.

Marie Claire UK Dec 2010

I really hope this girl excels as a model! We need more women of colour in the modelling industry especially coming from the UK!

BLOG SHOUTOUT: 2 BITCHEZ DEEP

Been meaning to do this for agggggesss now! Here's my first blog shoutout!

Ive been following 2 Bitchez Deep blog for about a year now. These ladies ooze soo much style and never fail to keep their blog interesting and unique. I love their DIY feature which goes to show that you can do pretty much anything with a few penny's in your purse and a being a bit creative. Loved the diamond fill DIY feature.

If you aint got money for a refill ladies, why not fill them with diamonds. I personally, doubt I could get this on point without sticking my fingers together. loool But by all means give it a go!

They also have a shop, where you can cop some of their creations. (Love their ear wing earrings).

Anyway check out their blog peeps :)

FASHION TREND: TURBAN MI CRAZZYYY!

Turbans have been a fashion trend for quite some time now, but guess what? It looks like their here to stick around for another summer. ^_^ Turbans can be worn to style up a drab outfit or simply hide the fact that your having a bad hair day (I have done this).

(P.S. the lipstick in the pic above is Mac 'Cyber' Lipstick')

The likes of Fashion stylist June Ambrose (love her), Solange Knowles, Sarah Jessica Parker have all been seen in them.
L-R - June Ambrose, Solange Knowles, Chrisette Michelle

If you haven't yet purchased any turbans then i suggest you do not buy them in the high street stores (too expensive). Get yours from your local hair shop and if you have no luck there then I suggest you go to ebay and get bidding!! Cheap as chips i tell ya! Now if you are looking to do a headwrap and don't know how to wrap it, please go on youtube and watch a couple tutorials. Easy Peasy! Here's the video i learn how to do a headwrap from:

And here's a pic of what I did:

What I love is that there are sooo many different ways to do it. Ive kept it pretty much simple with mine.

Knick a piece of material from your mum and get wrapping!
